What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Pharmacist position at Avita Care Solutions?
The Per Diem Pharmacist appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.
This is a per diem position located in Philadelphia, PA (1226 Chestnut St) and the pharmacy is open M-F from 9am to 5pm.

About the Role:
- Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
- Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services
- Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising team members (two Pharmacy Technicians)
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
- Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Perform in accordance with company policies and standards

About You:
- Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of PA
- 1 year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and customer-service skills
- Able to effectively work with, mentor, and supervise two pharmacy technicians
- 340B experience and/or AAHIVP certification a plus

Pay range: $60 to $65 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location
