What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration Manager position at Avita Galion Hospital?
Oversees the Galion Hospital Registration, Switchboard, and on-site Cashier functions. Manages and leads the team to ensure accurate and efficient collection of demographic and financial information, delivery of patient estimates, and collection of pre-service payments at the earliest possible opportunity. Ensures the team is always prepared to effectively and efficiently communicate emergency codes and situations. Models and promotes excellent customer service and conveys the importance of financial education for patients and families. Supports the customer-focused revenue cycle process and quality initiatives. Completes reports and tracks key performance metrics and creates action plans to address improvement opportunities. Continually strives to improve processes, data quality, and patient loyalty through technology enhancements, staff growth and training, and collaboration with other Avita departments.
Requirements:- Minimum of two years of management experience
- Previous hospital or physician practice experience
- Advance degree or active pursuit of advanced degree
