Your primary objective will be to ensure that the company's accounting and financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, controls, and oversight over the month, quarter, and year-end company close.
- Leading, guiding, and manage reviews and supervise the accounting team this includes AP team, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Payroll, Equity accounting.
- Understand and maintain ERP system operations, identifying and enhancing the system for scalability and efficiency.
- Identify, create and improve processes and procedures including documentation and support.
- Prepare schedules and information related to year-end audits and support the Qtrly and Y/E SEC reporting requirements.
- Lead the SOX controls narrative process, review/identify and updates to controls.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field/ CPA a plus
- Solid understanding of GAAP and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Experience in manufacturing/medical device industry.
- experience in Microsoft D365 is a plus!
- Previous experience in SOX 404
- Extensive experience in corporate finances, auditing, and performance management.
- Superb organizational and time management abilities.
