We are looking for someone to lead this 113 unit community with an entrepreneurial mindset who understands that this position requires the ability to run a business.
THE POSITION :
As Executive Director, you will direct, and be accountable for, all departments to ensure they meet AVIVA- quality standards in operations as well as finance and budgetary goals. You will oversee all marketing and sales activities and participate as necessary. As you provide leadership and mentoring for the staff, you will prioritize the safety and well-being of our residents.
You will enjoy unusual autonomy, reporting directly to the corporate COO. Base Benefits Bonus.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED :
Leadership : to oversee, encourage, mentor the diverse staff including sales, nursing and wellness, dining, maintenance and housekeeping.
Sales : to direct sales, marketing, and business development by creating innovative marketing strategies and hold teams accountable for success.
Business aptitude : to understand that you are running a big business and are responsible for meeting budgetary and other performance goals. Ability to read and understand financial reports.
Care and empathy : to deal with families and residents to ensure the well-being of residents and peace of mind for families.
EXPERIENCE :
- At least five years of leadership experience in the senior-living industry preferred. May consider health care or hotel management.
- Hands-on experience in financial management, budget preparation, cash flow management.
