Here, you will have the opportunity to work with brand-new technologies, lead ambitious projects, and make a significant impact on our digital transformation journey.What you'll do : Conceptualize and define the Cloud solution, process and controls for the organization including control tower, landing zone etc.Define cloud governance framework to standardize cloud governance practices with cloud native policies, technology, and compliance elements.Take lead in the development of cloud solution roadmaps and architectures in alignment with the enterprise and group cloud architecture.Review and ensure delivery team is following established cloud governance practices.Lead the cloud migration roadmap to move on-prem application migration to cloud considering cost, architecture, operating model considerations.Liaise with partners - collaborate with business, IT partners, security, and project management teams to prioritize and deliver value.Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to Aviva’s IT StrategyAlign with standards, design approaches and governance.Build Cloud solutions and design for projects to meet Aviva’s standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.Produce design options with associated costs, benefits, and risks to enable investment decisions.Work with product owners, architects, platform teams and other project colleagues to agree trade-offs between, long-term and short-term goals.Ensure the integrity of the end-to-end cloud solution, including transition states used to achieve the target state.Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address the same in future phases.Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs.Technical Leadership to keep up with technological developments in the public clouds AWS, Azure and network connectivity with data center and evaluate how well they fit into the company's architecture.Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to support the development and deployment of cloud services and solutions.Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established cloud principles and guidelines.Ensure design artifacts are produced to support partner group for service, security, architecture, and engineering.What you'll bring : Proven experience in architecting end to end cloud solution from ground up for the enterprise.Expertise in the AWS public cloud; added experience in Azure is preferred.Experience of data center infrastructure, networking and other data center technologies is an advantage.Certified in the public cloud (AWS or Azure).Strong knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).Broad technical experience with the ability to apply it across a variety of customer and business scenarios.Financial acumen to support development of cases and to inform key design decisions.Ability to balance long-term strategic direction and necessary short-term goals.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.Strong personal impact and influence.Good partner and relationship management skills.Leadership skills.What you'll get : The salary band for this position ranges from $107,700to $200,100.
