Your Role
As the Program Manager, HUD, you will oversee the daily operations of our HUD-funded supportive housing programs for single adults. You will lead a team of Housing Case Managers, ensure compliance with HUD and other funding requirements, manage program budgets, and collaborate with community partners. Your leadership will play a key role in helping individuals experiencing homelessness secure and maintain stable housing.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing program operations to ensure high-quality, mission-driven services.
- Developing and maintaining program policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Supervising Housing Case Managers, providing training, coaching, and support.
- Ensuring compliance with HUD regulations, licensing, and funding requirements.
- Managing program budgets, including rental assistance and grant spending.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and funders.
- Supporting a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration among staff.
- Contributing to Avivo’s Undoing Racism Plan and ensuring culturally responsive services.
Qualifications
What You Offer:
- Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with 2 years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a behavioral health or housing setting.
- Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in supportive housing, harm reduction, Housing First, HUD, and rental assistance programs.
- Familiarity with mental health, chemical health, and housing laws.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and manage complex cases.
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR), preferably Credible.
