General Purpose
Lead and oversee the systems integration and financial analysis of AVmedia. Works closely with our Data Analyst providing financial overview and planning to the CEO.
Responsibilities include day-to-day management of the accounting team and financial operations.
Protect the value of AVmedia to all stakeholders, while continuing to foster a Culture in the Finance and Accounting arm that is trustworthy, communicative, disciplined, efficient, and fun, building growth opportunities for direct reports, and living AVmedia’s Culture, Core Values, Core Purpose and 3 Uniques at all times.
Requirements
- MBA Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles
- Heavy data analytics technical experience preferred
- Solid verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Team oriented, flexible and positive leadership
- Travel up to 25%
Reporting Structure
This position will report to the President/CEO
Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the systems integration
- Oversee financial analysis of AVmedia
- Consistently analyze and report data that impacts the business and stakeholders
- Monitor and oversee AVmedia’s cashflow, keeping the key stakeholders informed of any potential issues proactively to allow for strategic discussion if necessary
- Recognize and celebrate successes
- Lead the company forecasting processes informing all key stakeholders of trends to help reenforce success and drive action and improvements across the organization
- Partner with the team to implement reliable and efficient accounting technology
- Ensure compliance with financial and labor regulators
- Make presentations and recommendations to the CEO, CFO and Leadership Team
- Monitor business performance with tracking tools and approve reports for informational meetings for stakeholders
- Be the final approver on periodic operational financial reporting
- Perform other and additional duties and responsibilities as appropriate
