Receiving Specialist

Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, automotive, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must be able to lead a team, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Specifically:

• Accurately and timely receive incoming deliveries into SAP and material lot tracking file in accordance with vendor supplied packing list
• Communicate with the Procurement department about issues, challenges, and errors in goods ordered and received
• Accurately prepare required documentation for materials processing
• Monitor Receiving Problem Log and push for daily resolution, escalate as necessary
• Work with the Receiving Supervisor to coordinate and prioritize all incoming deliveries
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates
• Be flexible with daily workloads and expectations
• Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping tables, pallet areas, and workstations neat

Requirements:

• High school diploma or A.S.
• 2 years experience in warehouse operations and processes.
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
