Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertain guests’ dining needs, including reservations, dietary restrictions, special requests, etc.
- Manage the seating chart and seat guests accordingly
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Answer phone calls, effectively communicating restaurant hours, availability, and policies
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Assist with side work including, but not limited to: cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Maintain regular and punctual on-site attendance with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when business requires
- All other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or any other member of management.

Education
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in and knowledge of restaurant operations and industry standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills is a plus.
- Prior guest relations training
- A polite, engaging, and professional personality
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Must be able to speak English to communicate with guests. Must be able to recognize situations which may involve guests that require immediate supervisory attention. Must know and use reasonable care for the safety and security of the guests.
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision

- Ability to bend, kneel, squat
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear for long periods.
- Frequently required to use hands and arms to reach and handle. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ensure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, extending arms over head, bending and stooping are performed safely
- Ability to push and pull, lift and carry up to 30lbs
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- LeMoyne’s is a sixty seat dinner-only restaurant with a bar. Will occasionally work in other areas of the property including other restaurant/banquet outlets, storage areas, kitchens, and guest areas.
