Job Description
Direct activities of the Community's Food Service department, providing quality food service and nutrition. Supervise food services staff. This is made-to-order dining at its finest. Seasonal and regional menus are ever-evolving, offering signature dishes and daily specials. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.
Essential Duties :
- Implement policies and procedures, and provide administrative direction for menu formulation, food preparation and service, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices, and personnel utilization.
- Select, orient and coach professional food service staff, and help develop and direct departmental educational programs.
- Schedule all food service personnel.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
- Supervise activities of workers engaged in food preparation and service.
- Formulate menus for special diets based on medical and physical condition of residents and integrates special menus with basic menus.
- Establish staffing schedule and monitor staffing.
