Host/Hostess- Avocet Playa Vista

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host / Hostess to join our team in Avocet Playa Vista. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons.

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
• Guide guests to their tables and present menus
• Communicate effectively with wait staff to ensure seamless service
• Maintain an organized and clean reception area
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the restaurant
• Assist in preparing the dining room for service and special events
• Monitor wait times and manage guest expectations
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to address any guest concern
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies
