Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles, with experience in handling various types of equipment. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. The Equipment Technician will work with power tools and hand tools, and may be required to perform heavy lifting as part of their daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of equipment, including diesel engines and generators.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with heavy machinery and tools.
• Assist in the training of new technicians as needed.

• Requirements
• Proven experience in automotive repair or as a service technician is required.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques is a plus.
• is highly desirable (not required) We offer trianing to the right candidate
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for equipment handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
