What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Psychologist/Team Chair position at Avon Public Schools?
The Ralph D. Butler Elementary School is seeking a full time School Psychologist. The Butler school is a PreK-Grade 5 elementary school serving approximately 400 students in Avon and surrounding communities. All applicants must be certified as a School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.The School Psychologist is responsible for the following: Responsible for completing educational and school based psycho-educational and psychological assessments and related reports, as well as providing educational recommendations for students in need.Responsible for running IEP meetings and all associated paperworkResponsible for providing consultation services as requested by school personnel, parents/guardians and school administrators to support the provisions of effective instructional services and emotional/behavioral supports to students within the educational environmentResponsible for utilizing assessment data to develop appropriate interventions and/or programs to support/enhance student learning.Responsible for providing teachers, parents/guardians and other service providers with relevant information from assessments, interventions and/or programs
