General Description : The primary role of the Data Clerk is to manage all data for eligible migrant students in the region.

Qualifications :

1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

2. Associates Degree or two (2) years college degree (preferred).

3. Must possess and maintain a valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

4. Must be Bilingual (English / Spanish).

5. Must possess proficient typing and computer skills.

6. Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

1. Evaluate program compliance and performance.

2. Conduct Migrant Education Program employee evaluations in conjunction with the Director of Curriculum & Innovation.

3. Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate supplemental migrant instructional services for districts with diverse needs across a broad geographical area.

4. Assist with interpretation of child and family eligibility and programmatic issues, and the recruitment and enrollment of eligible children and families for the Migrant Education Program.

5. Demonstrate creativity and foster accountability for and enthusiasm in operating instructional and supplemental programs for migratory students.

6. Implement data-driven programs focused on student achievement.

7. Direct and supervise all components of the Migrant Education Program and serve as program liaison between parents, school districts, State Department of Education, and the general public.

8. Assist the Director of Curriculum and Innovation in monitoring the program budget.

9. Provide district staff with technical assistance and interpretation of related federal and state regulations.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Reports to : Migrant Education Program Supervisor

Salary Range : Classified Hourly Salary Schedule

Status : Full Time (40 hours per week), 12 month, Classified Hourly Clerk Placement
