Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Our Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives detail health care professionals (HCPs) in face-to-face discussions to promote assigned healthcare products, while maximizing the products’ selling potential to meet sales objectives. Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and educate them about our pharmaceutical products’ features, benefits and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. Each Pharmaceutical Sales Rep utilizes compliance approved marketing tools and sales resources for product promotion.

Success Metrics

- Maintain thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical products, healthcare services and medical programs.
- Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Supplier Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations, and terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements and PDMA Guidelines.
Requirements for each of our Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives
- 1 years of successful outside sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to drive to assigned targets within the territory using your own automobile.
- Must be able to obtain industry certifications and credentials
- Must be able to meet training expectations to proceed to servicing client’s customers within the parameters of the program.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong rapport building skills and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace with completion of pharmaceutical sales training
- Excellent selling, closing, probing and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. iPad, apps).
Travel
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium as required.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% overnight (depending upon territory boundaries, meeting schedule, etc.)
