Overview :
Serves a continuous process improvement consultant to the Human Performance Wing. The Wing delivers unparalleled capability to the Air Force through a combination of world class infrastructure and expertise of its diverse workforce of military, civilian and contractor personnel encompassing 75 occupational specialties including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.
Responsibilities :
Provide study team with best practices in CPI and lead CPI investigation of the use of the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation in AOME courses.
In partnership with the study team, explore the Kirkpatrick Model levels 3 and 4 outcome measures and availability of applicable measurement data from a variety of Air Force databases and resources; build reports to communicate findings.
In partnership with the study team, use CPI findings to implement valid Kirkpatrick Model level 3 and 4 evaluation measures; build process maps, visuals, and reports to communicate findings.
In partnership with the study team, participate in focus groups, provide content to build and collect survey data, and participate in other evidence-based data collection practices; build reports to communicate findings.
Map all processes conducted during the study and those discovered in research findings; build guides and standards to be used by future SMEs and lay individuals.
Other duties as assigned by the Primary Investigators to meet study aims and prepare study deliverables.
Qualifications :
The contractor employee shall possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree.
The contractor shall possess a minimum of a green belt in continuous process improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, or military CPI.
The contractor shall have experience with process mapping software such as MS Visio or LucidChart.
The contractor employee shall possess strong writing and presentation skills.
The contractor employee shall have experience with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
The contractor employee shall have the ability to thrive in a team environment, yet able to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal guidance from the Program Director and government leads.
The contractor employee shall possess : organizational skills; the ability to achieve set goals; initiative in performing assigned tasks; ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity; and ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
Highly Desired Qualifications :
Possesses black belt in continuous process improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, or military CPI.
Previous work experience in research project management or assistance is preferred.
Prior work experience in a Governmental environment is desired.
Previous experience working in a military research environment is desired.
