What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at AVPM?
Duties:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and current tenants
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
- Assist with the leasing process, including preparing lease agreements and collecting rental applications
- Handle tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of tenant information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally, providing information about available units and answering questions from prospective tenants
- Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with potential tenants
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure proper property maintenance and repairs
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer relationship management or sales is preferred
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and file management
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively with potential tenants
- Familiarity with facilities management and property maintenance is a plus
