Cement Mason

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may change from time to time:

• Able to set forms to specifications to pour concrete, off rod and finish concrete.
• Able to work on either a hand crew or a machine crew.
• Assist laborers who are involved in the concrete process, as needed.
• Ensure that the final product meets industry standards.
• Pass all required classes to be a certified mason (ADA/ACI classes).
• Other duties as may be assigned.

• 1-2 years of mason experience or applicable industry experience, preferred
• Positive attitude, willing to learn, and gets things done
• Maintains order and structure to their daily schedule
• Have a high regard for safety standards
• Ability to work in the outdoor elements surrounded by heavy equipment and loud noises
• Must be extremely vigilant on observing surroundings due to moving equipment
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years of age or older
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work everyday
Ability to work throughout the entire season, mid- April to November

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to kneel and bend over for long periods of time
• Use motions throughout the day such as pushing/pulling, shoveling, and/or pull various material handling equipment to complete the job
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to work long, 10-12 hour days
