What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Assistant, office assistant position at AVS Rentals LLC?
We are an established and growing real estate and rental company in Columbia, SC! We are looking for an assistant to help with the leasing of rentals, assist the property manager and assist in some minor duties with the real estate transactions we have. We are looking for part time with an option for full time and we do offer leasing bonuses!
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct property tours for potential residents
- Assist with the leasing process, including application review, lease preparation, and move-in coordination
- Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activities
- Collaborate with the team.
- Handle resident concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct market research to stay informed about rental rates and competitor offerings
Skills:
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle resident concerns and conflicts
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Experience using Buildium or similar property management software is preferred BUT not required.
- Excellent office skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with a wide variety of people and personalities
- Willingness to learn and grow in your position
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
