POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and ensuring that inventory management processes run smoothly. This role involves collaborating with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to oversee stock levels, handle discrepancies, and ensure proper storage and tracking of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of inventory management systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or related fields.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and track products from receipt to dispatch.
- Stock Replenishment: Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure inventory is replenished as needed.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Inventory Audits: Perform regular physical counts of inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and conduct year-end inventory audits.
- Reporting: Prepare inventory reports, track stock levels, and report on inventory performance and issues.
- System Management: Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels, order status, and product movements.
- Quality Control: Ensure that inventory is stored properly and remains in good condition, reporting any damaged goods or expired items.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and industry regulations related to inventory control.
