Electrical Engineering Technician (Intern)

Our expertise in Power Quality, Field Service, Computer Design and Software Industries enables RxMS to provide its customers with world-class power monitoring service.   POSITION SUMMARY:    We are seeking a dedicated part-time Electrical Engineering Technician Intern to join our growing company. You will assist electrical engineers to assemble and troubleshoot electronic components.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    Essential Functions: Test, troubleshoot and repair PCB/PCBA level components   Test & calibrate electronic devices produced by RxMS   Test, troubleshoot circuit boards produced by RxMS Assemble RxMS products in accordance with standard procedures Perform other duties as may be requiredsuch as soldering, and general manufacturing     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Fluency in English     EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:      Skills Attention to detail Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills Time management and organizational skills Proficient computer skills and attention to detail Experience in electromechanical and/or assembly with excellent manual dexterity Ability to work independently and autonomously with little to no direction; self-managed Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to use electrical test equipment, including oscilloscope, digital voltmeter, etc. High level understanding of design engineering requirements to properly assemble components and products   Experience General knowledge of electronics/electronics assemblies General soldering experience Experience working with established procedures and documentation   COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat  Experience with both print and digital media formats
