POSITION SUMMARY:
Avtron Power Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Operational Excellence Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will provide critical analytical support to the Director of Supply Chain & Planning across all areas of the supply chain, including purchasing, production planning, inventory management, labor planning, and manufacturing flow optimization.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in industrial and systems engineering, operations research, or a similar discipline who are eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:• Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements across planning, purchasing, production, and inventory.• Support capacity planning and labor optimization through detailed modeling and data analysis.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map, evaluate, and improve material flow and production processes.• Assist with the creation and refinement of planning tools, dashboards, and reporting to drive operational visibility and decision-making.• Participate in project initiatives to streamline manufacturing operations and improve on-time delivery and service performance.• Monitor and interpret key metrics (e.g., inventory turns, supplier performance, capacity utilization) and provide actionable insights to leadership.• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making and operational problem-solving.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field. EDUCATION AND SKILLS: Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
