Graduate Engineer

Our client is looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer to join their team and contribute to exciting projects within the nuclear industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of nuclear engineering projects.
• Conduct research and feasibility studies on nuclear technologies and safety measures.
• Support senior engineers in system modeling, simulations, and performance assessments.
• Work on regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to nuclear safety standards.
• Participate in on-site inspections, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Engage in cross-functional teamwork with mechanical, electrical, and safety engineers.
• Attend training sessions, industry conferences, and professional development programs.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, AutoCAD, Python, etc.).
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable:

• Previous internship or placement experience in a nuclear or energy-related sector.
• Understanding of reactor physics, radiation protection, or thermal-hydraulics.
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., IMechE, IET, or Nuclear Institute).
