Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to energy operations, including production, consumption, pricing, and market trends, to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization, leveraging process mapping and workflow analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and prioritize initiatives to meet business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational metrics, monitor performance, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI analysis, and variance analysis, to assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives and support decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics in the energy sector, conducting research and analysis to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends, with a solid understanding of energy production, distribution, and consumption processes.
