Job Summary:
The ERP Functional Consultant will work under the JobBoss management software, which is a purpose-built software created to address the unique challenges of organizations in job-shop manufacturing and distribution. The ERP Functional Consultant has overall responsibility for the successful planning, development, monitoring, and completion of implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize JobBoss ERP modules and applications based on business requirements.
- Integrate JobBoss with Quickbooks to enable seamless data flow.
- Work with internal department to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and ERP functionalities.
- Recommend best practices and solutions to optimize processes.
- Provide technical support for JobBoss related issues, debugging errors, and providing resolutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot application issues and provide timely support to ensure minimal disruption.
- Maintain and optimize JobBoss database, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop scripts, reports, and queries for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data from JobBoss.
- Prepare and update documentation for customizations, configurations, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions for users on new functionalities, features, and best practices.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Knowledge of JobBoss manufacturing software preferred.
- 3 years ERP functional experience, software solution implementation, required.
- Degree in a related field (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to ERP (e.g., SQL, Java, Python, or languages specific to the ERP system).
- Experience in change management – effectively communicating changes, building commitment, and overcoming resistance to prepare and support those affected.
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive the creation and use of business systems and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Expert communication and consulting skills to build strong relationships with business users, team members, and service providers.
- Manufacturing industry experience an asset.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reporting.
