Job Summary:
Facility Maintenance is to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our facility. The custodian will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, minor maintenance duties, and ensuring a hygienic environment for employees and visitors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility by daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
- Routine cleaning of:
- Mini split filters
- HVAC filters
- Exhaust fans and louvers
- Department air purifier filters
- Shop wall panels
- Shop glass windows
- Facility light fixtures
- Security Camera lenses
- Machines
- General cleaning of floors, shop shelves and garbage in and around facility.
- Replenishment of soap and toilet paper throughout facility.
- Exterior facility upkeep of grass, snow removal, ice salting, pressure washing and street debris/garbage.
- Complete minor repairs and general handyman tasks such as: hanging picture/fixtures, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.
- Run shop errands and pick up supplies as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualification / Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
