Auto Body Technician/Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and be proficient in various techniques, including welding and sheet metal work. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair needs.
• Weld and assemble parts as necessary to restore vehicle integrity.
• Work with auto glass replacement and repair as required.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards before returning them to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.

Skills

• Proficient in auto body repair techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with welding and sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during the repair process.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
