JOB PURPOSE
The Tech Support position provides quality customer service and troubleshooting for internet/computer issues as well as provide support to Tier I and for Installation Technicians.
SUPERVISION
Must be able to work with limited to no supervision

JOB FUNCTION STATEMENT
As Tech Support, you will be responsible for taking phone calls from many different people with different situations while maintaining a great attitude. The representative will be responsible for the following tasks
- Maintaining a positive attitude
- Answering phone calls as they come in
- Respond to submitted tickets
- Take Installation techs calls for assistance in configuring equipment
- Create and fill out Tower Sheet for the week
- Program basic configuration on equipment
- Monitor the Dude (software program) for outages and compare to Instant Message activity
- Assign equipment that techs send in on Database software to the customer account
- Assist techs in field with providing customer best service options
- Providing accurate information to the customers
- Provide clear, concise instructions to customers
- Eager to learn new things and take on new responsibilities
- Maintain a standard of quality on each call
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1-year experience in customer service or more
- Be able to pass drug and alcohol screening
- Be able to pass a background check
- A good work ethic
- Be willing to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with many kinds of people
- Availability to work after hours and weekends if needed.
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Punctual and consistent job attendance
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
