AW Health Care is urgently looking for CNAs or very experienced Caregivers for 12 hour day shifts located in O'Fallon. Our O'Fallon client needs CNAs/very experienced Caregivers that have experience with hospice patients and know how to use a Sit-To-Stand. We are looking for CNAs/Caregivers that have a strong commitment to customer service and a genuine passion for geriatric care. You excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, family and staff, while providing motivation and support. You are skilled in assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, light laundry, bed linen changes, client errands and offering companionship. You are also dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for the client. CNAs and Caregivers meticulously follow the duties outlined in each client’s care plan.
O'Fallon, MO *12 Hour Day Shifts: 7 Days a week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
(Must have Sit-To-Stand experience and highly preferred hospice experience).

Requirements
CNA/Caregiver:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have valid driver's license, your own reliable, personal vehicle with full coverage auto insurance.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience with Transfers and Sit-To -Stands and assisted elderly with stability issues in interview and/or orientation.
- CNA preferred or highly experienced Caregiver that is friendly and outgoing.
- Hospice experience highly preferred.
- Must be highly dependable and able to arrive to shift on time or early to relieve other CNA/Caregivers.
- Able to work in homes with pets and smokers preferred.
- Must have one year or more paid work experience as an agency CNA or Caregiver caring for elderly individuals.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide the care appropriate to the age of the clients served in the interview and/or orientation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to participate in physical activity.
- Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
- Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
- Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
Salary : $17 - $23
