Defiance Client Split Shift: 7 Days a week, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
CNA/Caregiver Job Summary- The CNA or Caregiver provides mobility assistance if needed, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene care, toileting, light housekeeping, meal prep, med reminders, laundry, bed linen changes, companionship and keeping a safe environment for the client.

CNA/Caregiver Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have valid Driver's License, your own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance***
- Must have at least six months to one year of professional caregiver experience preferably with the geriatric population
- Able to work with pets and smokers in client homes preferred.
- Must possess moderate computer skills, including word processing and data entry
- Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be a “team player” dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude
- Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency
- Providing assistance with light meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, personal hygiene and medication reminders
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to participate in physical activity.
Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
