Awaken Wealth Partners is an independent practice that specializes in comprehensive financial planning and investment management. The Paraplanner position at Awaken requires a close working relationship with the Awaken advice team and other pillar relationships within our Fully Integrated Team (FIT) of financial professionals. This is a client facing role that has a direct influence on the success of the organization and the clients we serve.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Building and developing relational equity with clients, understanding their values, financial goals, personal preferences, and investment objectives.
- Working with Awaken’s Advice Team, developing strategies for process and client interaction improvements.
- Assisting advisors in preparing for client meetings, including communication and follow-up of resulting action items.
- Gathering information necessary to develop customized financial plans that meet the client’s unique needs, that adhere to the Fiduciary standard and aligns with Awaken’s philosophies.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the use of tech stack, workflows and processes that maintain or improve existing processes.
- Developing and providing timely recommendations related to investment strategies, values-based recommendations, quality of life, goal setting, and accountability.
- Proactively providing ongoing advice and guidance to clients while also addressing their inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with the Advice Team on complex planning initiatives such as estate planning, charitable giving and tax strategies.
- Staying updated with market trends, economic developments and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Helping Awaken meet its developmental and financial objectives using our proprietary planning process.
- Participating in and providing suggestions to our Advice Team and Investment Committee.
- Work closely with the community, raising the collective acumen, and developing spheres of influence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
