We have 2 shifts available:
Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:00PM
Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:00PM
SUMMARY: Help people create and reach goals nobody has imagined for them! Provide the enthusiasm, knowledge and skills necessary to organize and supervise activities in the classroom, on campus, and/or in the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older, possess a valid Florida driver’s license and a high school diploma/GED.
EXPERIENCE: No experience necessary. All we ask is that you love helping people realize their potential and overcome obstacles.
PROGRAMS DESCRIPTION: Our Adult Day Training Program provides a safe, supported, and supervised experience, where adults with disabilities can work on goals that help them live a more independent and fulfilled life.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete and maintain required training courses.
Create and engage in age appropriate activities.
Provide needed support as identified in the support and implementation plans.
Document group activities and individual outcomes.
Provide input on progress/regression towards goals and help identify future goals.
Supervise and assign duties to volunteers if/when applicable.
Maintain and ensure equipment is in safe and good working condition.
Perform all other duties not specifically identified, as assigned by the ADT Director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that would normally be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, staff are regularly required to talk, hear and see; frequently are required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands. Staff are occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; as well as stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Staff are subject to indoor conditions and subject to low to moderate noise levels with periodic disruptions in routine, while also subject to various outdoor settings. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
