- Job Title: Assembler
- Pay Rate Range: $20/Hour
- Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
- Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 5:30AM-3PM and Fri 5:30AM-9AM or Mon-Thurs 5AM-3PM and Fri 5AM-9AM with required O/T.
- Position Type: Temp to Hire
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 years of recent assembly, production, or manufacturing experience.
- Capable of reading blueprints and understanding work orders.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to us power tools such as a drill.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
- Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls, and reaches with hands and arms. Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift.
- Very keen vision and hearing is required.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Must have good physical strength and stamina, good hand-eye coordination and good dexterity in hand manipulation and muscle coordination.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety.
- With close supervision, operates most types of equipment by controlling their operation.
- Assemble all metal hardware (hinges, slam latch, spring packages, pyro latches, etc.)
- Work with team members to maximize productivity.
- Keep area well organized and clean.
- Work within all safety guidelines.
- Cross train on various machines and in various departments to fill in when needed.
- Communicate with entire team to reach company goals.
- Performs frequent quality checks.
- Use hand and power tools.
- Misc. projects and other duties as assigned.
