About the Opportunity :
Job Title : Machine Operator - Heavy
Pay Rate Range : $19.75 / Hour
Location : Forest Lake, MN
Schedule : 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3 : 30PM-11 : 30PM
Position Type : Temp to Hire
Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications :
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
- Previous production experience required.
- Ability to run a manual work center and maintain cycle, tend to multiple automatic work centers as assigned, ability to count and report production produced and scrap as required.
- Basic understanding of scales and other required measuring equipment; knowledge of a variety of injection molding presses; understand how to read a print; successful completion of Paulson Molding Fundamentals 1 &2.
- Ability to perform daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to understand how and when to react to changes in product quality.
- Walking is required within the office / shop areas.
- Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements.
- Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment.
- Must have dexterity with hands.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner; ability to make decisions with limited information.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable using lifting tools like lift table or ceiling crane.
- Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch to perform job duties.
