About the Opportunity :
Job Title : Quality Technician
Pay Rate Range : $26.63-32.50 / Hour
Location : Forest Lake, MN
Schedule : 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 7AM-4PM
Position Type : Direct Hire
Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensing / Registration / Certification : Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
- Preferred 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment with 5 years of CMM programming (PCDMIS preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills; effective business correspondence and reporting; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems, acute eye for details during inspections.
- Understanding of modern manufacturing processes; knowledge of systems implementation including ISO 9001 and AS9100 preferred; experience with basic and advanced measurement tools (OGP, Trimos, tool scopes, etc.); knowledge of blueprint reading / GDT; an understanding of component and / or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing.
- To be able to perform daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to be able to solve practical problems and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and other internal departments.
- Lifting 25lbs occasionally.
- Sitting for long durations of time.
- Reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
