Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading items, driving vehicles, and providing exceptional service during each move.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload items from trucks or vans, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed, ensuring proper handling of fragile or valuable goods.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient route driving and timely deliveries.
• Utilize forklifts or other equipment when necessary to move heavy items safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or box truck operator is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous.
• Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required; training may be provided.
• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.92 - $23.01 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
