Essential Job Duties
- Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots equipment.
- Monitors, evaluates and suggests adjustments to processes or equipment that maximize quality and efficiency.
- Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures.
- Completes records and associated documentation.
- Responsible for the painting of equipment.
- Performs all duties in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate standard process.
- General housekeeping duties and ground maintenance including but not limited to the preparation of shop and company vehicles.
- May operate heavy machinery if properly certified.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to field locations for equipment repair
- Ability to communicate and interpret a variety of verbal and written instructions
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work long hours when required
- Technical training in Hydraulics, Mechanics, or electrical/electronics
- Relevant experience as a shop technician in the oil and gas industry
- Welding experience
- Mechanical, hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with accumulator/closing unit maintenance
- Availability for rotating call for after normal operating hours, weekends, and holidays is required.
