AWDS is a value-added Reseller/Distributor for high quality cellular based modems and routers utilized in machine-to-machine (M2M), IoT solutions. We represent a broad cross section of products from the leading OEMs in the industry.
We are seeking a highly motivated technically oriented individual to join our growing team. The responsibilities for this position include assistance with post sales customer support, service calls and other technical related activities, including hands on set up of cellular modems and routers. Communication skills including written and conversational are required. After a 90-day evaluation period, we provide medical vision and dental insurance, 401K and paid vacation and holidays. The position is full time, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Qualified job seekers should have reliable transportation and live in or near zip code 33549. Basic Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written correspondence).

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.

- Ability to interact effectively and positively with all team members, partners, and vendors.
- Take ownership of every call and ensure that each client issue is resolved.
- Continue to expand knowledge of the M2M and IoT Cellular industry regarding new products, protocols, and solutions.
Technical Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of computer networking.
- Proven technical support experience. (must provide previous work experience in call center or related support functions)
- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of how switches, routers and access points work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
