Position: Associate Director, Web Operations

About the Position
The Associate Director, Web Operations serves as a valuable shared web resource to each of our six organizations, providing collaborative expertise to develop and improve web properties. You will continuously improve website performance and experience through data-driven decision making, collaboration and innovation. Using technical improvements, content creation and search engine optimization, you will help increase web traffic, engagement and conversion rates. The role requires a strong, self-motivated expert with a track record of successfully supporting corporate websites.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure websites support our goals and customer’s needs
- Partner with each business and IT to identify opportunities to gain efficiencies
- Independently manage external vendor relationships to extend our websites and increase reach and effectiveness
- Manage the digital content production cycle and communicate development timelines to stakeholders
- Perform technical reviews and quality assurance testing on new functionality, pages, and assets
- Lead discussions around web initiatives and updates
- Collaborate with team members to develop a digital content strategy to promote user engagement
- Research, identify, and implement Search Engine Optimization initiatives to increase visibility in search engines using tools and technical knowledge of SEO
- Use Google Analytics (G4) to analyze site traffic, website performance, user behavior and conversions
- Support Crystal Bridges and AWSOM web staff where needed

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 6-10 years of experience in web management and/or digital marketing
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Familiarity with web analytics, SEO tools, and reporting metrics
- Acute attention to detail with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Tech savvy with familiarity using platforms including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and others.

Physical demands: Occasionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to travel independently, regionally, and in communities served. This position requires working at a desk and utilizing a computer and a telephone for prolonged periods of time and good eye/hand coordination, bending and stretching for filing, and physical stamina to lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of at least three feet for art materials storage and preparation and as appropriate for the demands of the division office. Visual acuity to review written materials is required for this job.
Work environment: Work will be performed in an office environment. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. The noise level in the office and museum environment is usually low to moderate.
