Position: Procurement Analyst
Reporting to: Procurement Director
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (on-site)
FLSA: Hourly / Non-exempt
Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Procurement Analyst. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by Alice Walton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Heartland Whole Health Institute.
About the Position:
The Procurement Analyst will provide customer service to the Art and Wellness Ecosystem in support of their purchasing needs. Daily, the Procurement Analyst will provide transactional and administrative support for Procurement via contracts, analysis, purchase orders and system maintenance. The Procurement Analyst will also develop and conduct RFPs and bids under the guidance of the Procurement Director. What you will do:
Essential Job Functions
- Support the Procurement Director with day-to-day departmental operations, research, procurement strategy development and corporate travel management.
- Assist the Procurement Director with establishing supply sources that drive savings and efficiencies.
- Respond to inquiries about day-to-day activities of the department to ensure efficient, timely and streamlined processes.
- Administer the corporate travel management platform(s).
- Provide administrative support for all purchase and system transactions.
- Source goods and services needed within the ecosystem.
- Gather quotes, proposals, and purchasing agreements, terms, and conditions.
- Prepare and manage RFPs for suppliers and vendor submission.
- Assist with evaluating supplier selections and negotiating vendor contracts by assigned amount.
- Create and execute approved procurement and purchase order transactions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and data for active, inactive, and potential vendor relationships.
- Track purchased goods inventory, contracts, purchases orders in the appropriate accounting and procurement systems including Workday, Melon and Agiloft.
- Provide clients and vendors with how-to guidance regarding finance and procurement systems including self-registration and other related processes.
- Analyze vendor data and market trends to find potential cost savings, process optimization opportunities, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to measure procurement activities and impacts.
- Support with procurement planning, program analysis/evaluations and reporting for senior leadership.
- Research goods, materials, service suppliers and make recommendations for new vendors or industry leading trends.
- Verify suppliers comply with local, state, and federal data environmental, labor, trade laws and/or other regulatory agencies.
- Assist with project-related or miscellaneous tasks in the Procurement department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, business administration, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant AP/AR, RFP & Bid development, supplier negotiation, and or business analysis experience
- Purchasing experience
- Required Skills: Specification review and development, RFP and Bid development and administration, supplier negotiation, business analysis, Excel and data visualization tools, excellent communication.

- Work environment: Work will be performed in an office environment full-time (Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.) The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, may be necessary to support operational needs.
