Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves equipment installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or component replacements
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute proper installations and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Perform welding or soldering as required for system assembly or repair
- Work closely with property management or clients to address system concerns
- Clearly communicate findings and service recommendations to clients
- Stay informed on industry standards, tools, and technologies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and refrigerant cycle mechanics
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Proficient in diagnosing issues and performing hands-on repairs safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills; customer-service oriented
- HVAC certification or technical training is a plus
- Boiler license preferred
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
