Accounting Administrative Assistant - Temp to Hire - $47,840.

Great Opportunity to join a Small Distribution Company as an Accounting Administrative Assistant. You will provide support to the CFO and Accounting Department with clerical and accounting duties including answering telephones, greeting clients and visitors, making appointments, supporting accounting staff, typing, and filing. This is a temporary to full time role, offering a great, close knit work environment, and a stable future. In addition to a great benefits package, the Company provides lunch two times a week! Main Responsibilities:

• Greets and refers clients and visitors.
• Answers main telephone system, takes messages, and direct incoming calls appropriately.
• Receives and stamps incoming mail.
• Support Accounting staff with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Proofreads all work for accuracy and neatness.
• Duplicates, collates, and prepares for mailing corporate reports, lists, correspondence, etc.
• Maintains copy machines and other various office machines.
• Customer billing process,
• AP expense coding, & vouchers
• Coding/entering AR cash receipts
• Scanning various accounting supporting documents
• Ad hoc duties as deemed necessary by manager.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years Accounting & Clerical skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Good working knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, etc.
• Strong computer skills-ability to operate standard office machines.
• Knowledge of efficient office procedures.
• Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Excellent time management skills.
