Entry Level Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Draftsman to join our team in Tyler, TX. In this role, you will assist in creating technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software under the guidance of senior designers and engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in drafting and design.

Shift: 8AM - 5PM (may work with college schedules - will still be 40/hr work week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: $16/hr - weekly pay!

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Interpret and follow specifications, sketches, and design instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and precise drawings.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Assist in reviewing and correcting drawings as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong math skills required.
• Willingness to learn and be coachable.
• Preferred - experience in construction, or a math related field.
