Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Tech to join our team at a local hospital in Pittsburg, TX. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hospital's floors, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily floor care and maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
- Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
- Apply floor finishes and sealers as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain equipment in clean and good working condition.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required.
- Previous experience as a Floor Tech in a hospital or similar healthcare setting is required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and use of related equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
