Commitment: Minimum 13 weeks, 3 shifts per week (12 hours each)
Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Medical Assistants to join our healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. This role requires working three 12-hour shifts weekly under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel. You will provide essential support in patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for exams and treatments
Perform clinical tests, procedures, venipunctures, and administer immunizations
Maintain and restock supplies in exam/procedure rooms
Transcribe provider orders and schedule return appointments
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Completion certificate from a Medical Assistant training program accredited in Arizona per A.R.S. § 32-1456(D), or meet exceptions listed in R4-16-401(B)
Current fit testing for N95 respirators
Current First Aid Certification
