Pricing Data Analyst

You will be responsible for implementing vendor cost updates, delivering price updates, analyzing market trends, and ensuring our products remain competitively priced while maintaining profitability. You will play a key role in optimizing the use of our pricing software to drive efficiency, automate processes, and leverage data insights to enhance overall pricing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement pricing adjustments in response to changes in the cost of goods, ensuring alignment with overall profitability objectives.
• Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to recommend competitive pricing adjustments.
• Use PROS Pricing Software to optimize pricing models and strategies.
• Diagnose and respond to pricing events throughout the customer experience and organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing is properly implemented across various systems.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and pricing analysis.
• Update leadership on competitor and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field or proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to spot trends, inconsistencies, and anomalies in data.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Hands-on experience with PROS Pricing Software (preferred).
• Knowledge of Power BI or other similar data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (preferred).
