Assistant Property Manager - RM-3422

AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to assist in managing a 107 unit Senior apartment community and a 72 unit apartment Community in Chico, CA. Experience in affordable housing (LIHTC) preferred.

The position is part-time at 40 hours a week.
Starting pay $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
No Housing available with this position.

Requirements:
Valid CA Driver’s License
Reliable Transportation
Authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications / Skills:
Able to communicate across various audience levels
Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
Highly proficient in math
Well organized with excellent time management skills
Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to manage emergency situations
Proficient in meeting strict deadlines
Professionalism
Listening

Responsibilities:
Assist in managing all aspects of assigned properties
Process applicant paperwork, screening applicants, obtaining landlord references, ensure all paperwork including lease and house rules receive signatures, re-certifications of current tenants, conducting move-ins and move–outs
Collecting rents and security deposits
Enforcing lease and house rules
Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
Maintaining excellent curb appeal
Advertise and market vacant units to attract tenants
Follow company policies and procedures
