What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse / Production Worker position at AWP Designs USA?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Reliability. We require a dedicated, loyal, reliable employee, who we can trust to show up, be punctual, organized, communicate, and work well with the team with minimal supervision.
- Able to read basic drawings
- Able to use basic hand tools (tool guns, saws, etc.)
- Able to use other tools such as drill presses would be an asset. (Training will be provided)
- Comply with all company safety requirements and protocols.
- Familiarity and experience in a warehouse environment.
- Certified Forklift trained (counter-balance)
- Order picking
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both reading and writing
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to learn new skills.
- Attention to detail & accuracy.
- Well organized.
- Ability to problem solve, work independently and as a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines,
- Distribution environment experience preferred.
