About The Position
The Program Coordinator will have a unique opportunity to work with the Medical Education team to build a free-standing degree-granting medical school in Northwest Arkansas.
The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the smooth operation of the clinical education curriculum throughout all four years. These include early clinical experience course, required clinical clerkships and elective rotations. The Program Coordinator will provide and manage essential administrative support to ensure the seamless execution of these critical components of the curriculum. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the clinical education program run smoothly.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions Specific to the Position:
- Organize and coordinate student educational experiences and assignments to clinical sites.
- Manage student schedules, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Serve as point of contact for students, addressing their questions and concerns related to courses, clerkships and rotations.
- Communicate with students, faculty, and site administrators regarding student schedules, evaluations, and other issues.
- Develop and recommend processes and coordinate new ideas and improvements.
- Assist with the implementation of instructional technologies such as, but not limited to Canvas, One45, and ExamSoft.
- Assist in the administration of exams and assessments, including proctoring, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with exam policies.
- Manage projects that require excellent multitasking, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Organize and coordinate new ideas and programming.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Work Experiences and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of full-time administrative support experience
- Experience in higher education, medical education, and/or healthcare
- Experience in process improvement and project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Instructional Technologies and ability to learn new software applications
