What You'll Do!

As a Personal Service Provider (Budtender) at Awssom, you will work under the direct supervision of the Retail management team. Your strong communication skills will be essential in liaising with individuals at all levels of the organization and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will aim to exceed customer service expectations by motivating those around you while maintaining efficiency, productivity, and accuracy in the dispensary.

Job Responsibilities :

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service. Assist customers in selecting products and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
Educate customers on various strains, products, and consumption methods.
Ensure all products are labeled correctly and stored according to regulatory compliance standards.
Process sales transactions accurately and handle payments with cash and credit cards.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment to provide a comfortable and pleasant shopping experience.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and strains.
Participate in inventory management and restocking to ensure adequate product availability.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable team environment.
Perform other duties assigned by management to support store operations.

Education & Qualifications :

At least 21 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Prior retail or customer service experience.

Thorough knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations.

Comprehensive understanding of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy skills.

Basic math proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.

Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Able to navigate small spaces and reach items on high shelves.

Visual acuity to identify product details and assist customers with selection.

Able to handle and operate equipment such as cash registers and scales.

Comfortable working with various cannabis products and handling related tools and equipment.
